Plastic Waste Reduction Initiative
THGC is participating in a plastic reduction and recycling program sponsored by NexTrex. Through this year-long program, THGC will collect specific types of clean, dry plastic film—such as grocery bags, bread bags, produce bags, and other soft plastics. Once we reach the required collection goal, NexTrex will recycle the plastic and transform it into a durable outdoor bench for our community to enjoy.
This program supports ongoing, hands-on environmental education for our members, their families, and friends. Please help spread the word and share how everyone in your life can contribute to this important cause.
