Our Projects

Over the years, the Three Harbors Garden Club has engaged in a number of projects benefitting the natural environment of the surrounding area of Long Island. Currently these projects include maintaining the Nancy S. Gay Garden at the Cold Spring Harbor Library and participating in The North Shore Oyster Program each year in Long Island Sound. We also received a grant from The Garden Club of America to install Native Plant Pollinator Islands which are planted among grasslands to add forbs and protect the only known Long Island breeding colony of the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly at Caumsett Historic State Park.
