HAPPY SPRING
Dear Members,
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
It is a wonderful time of year...a time when all seems right with the world. We have one more lecture meeting April 2nd, and then our spring luncheon, May 10th at the Huntington Country Club. Our June 4th meeting will take place at the lovely home of Danielle Deane.
As many of you know, we will be starting our civic garden days this month, March 29th at the CSH Library. We have given up the Lloyd Manor House garden, and therefore only have Trustee Park and the CSH Library, so please try and attend at least two work days this spring. It is helpful if everyone pitches in. And don't forget our miniature garden horticulture workshop on Wednesday, March 28th at the CSH library.
I wish you all a Happy Easter and leave you with this quote by Ruth Stout:
I LOVE SPRING ANYWHERE, BUT IF I COULD
CHOOSE I WOULD ALWAYS GREET IT IN A
GARDEN.
Sincerely,
Daphne Hagan
